Washington, DC is served by three major airports: DCA, IAD, and BWI
Flying into DCA is highly recommended for optimal convenience.
Amtrak services Union Station, which connects easily to the rest of the city via Metro or rideshare.
(Fun fact: Will's favorite mode of transportation)
If you're driving in, expect typical city traffic and limited street parking depending on your neighborhood.
Hotels and garages are generally your best bet for overnight parking.
GETTING AROUND & TRANSPORTATION
Washington, DC is very walkable and well-connected by public transit. If you're staying within or nearby DC, we recommend using Uber or Lyft to get to Woodend Sanctuary. It's often easier than dealing with city parking or rental logistics.
If you're traveling as a group or staying father away, you may want to consider a car rental for flexibility, especially for airport runs and exploring the area. The wedding venue does have parking available if you choose to drive.
